Role: CEO
Having started working at PK Marine in 2010 as the first ever compony sales rep, Ben has gained great experience across the entire business. Having been the CEO since 2019 he is involved in the strategic planning of the business, whilst also staying involved in operations and looking after his valued staff.
I love the freight industry and specifically the complexities of export packing and project logistics in general. I really like working out the best solution to the customers problem and the satisfaction of seeing a large job shipping out of our warehouse and then being delivered to the customers site on the other side of the world.
Being a smaller business we really focus on customer service and finding the best solution for each customer and their specific job. We really come into our own when we look after a full project from start to finish, including haulage, packing, container loading and shipping. We find the more we handle the smoother and less complications there are.
Mostly spent with my son (Rory) and wife (Nicola, who also works for us). I need to stay fit for my sanity so have taken up triathlons, and I love to travel and Scuba dive (whilst abroad when the water isn’t so cold!).
