Import handling, Warehousing and Deliveries 

The Aim

To support the client with their construction of a new gas plant by handling and storage and deliveries of imported machinery and plant parts prior to a site being ready to receive. 

The Solution

PK Marine offered both inside and outside storage space, whilst also investing in further handling equipment to be able to keep up with the demanding requirements and varied equipment that would be coming into us. 

The Outcome

Over a 3 year period, we have handled over 2500m3 of equipment, from 54 different suppliers. Goods have been received in HC’s, OT’s, FR’s, on standard trailers, low loaders you name it on this project we have seen it. One piece was 490cms wide and moved from Felixstowe to PKM Liverpool then onto Scotland, another item was a small jiffy bag that was sent via courier service.
