Glass Line to Dagestan 

The Aim

To protect highly sensitive machinery during transport from UK to Dagestan and during longer term storage whilst the site prepares for installation. 

The Solution

From day 1 of receiving goods, everything was meticulously logged onto the stock list. Metal parts were protected with a VCI rust inhibitor, then packed into double lined timber cases. The entire project had to shipped under one bill of lading so we store everything (523m3 and over 1000 tonnes) until the last item was ready to ship. At which point we loaded containers and had everything moved within a week.

The Outcome

All the goods arrived in the condition they left the UK, the customer was very satisfied with how everything went, and we have now work for this customer since 2010.
